I was talking to some of the Shelby head honcho's at the recent Shelby bash and the discussion turned to the new Nicky Camaro's and the Shelby guys want a grudge match as soon as this new Chebbie is up for it and ready for an old fashioned butt whipping by their 725 HP Super snake. They are even willing to send a snake to the SCR this year to administer the butt whipping on Stefano's home court.

Last I heard Stefano was seen in his office curled up on the floor in the fetal position with his thumb in his mouth??

got a feeling the snake will slither away and hide as soon as the NICKEY turned the corner into the Pit area

The Ford Super Worm sure won't stand a chance with you driving, that's for sure. I'll just let the Nickey Super Camaro do my talking http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

You had better get on the phone to Oshawa and crack the whip. From what the tool and die makers on the project are saying, there just doesn't seem to be any drive from upper management to get this thing rolling. Line workers have been back to work since early November, so the wages are going out, and apparently there aren't very many cars coming off the line yet. That's over three months. Over the years I've been through 7-8 fairly major model changes in Oshawa and have never seen anything like this. I was a tool room lead hand during two of them. Something strange going on here I think.

I am forced to admit that yes with me driving the snake turns a 16.5 but since Chevy can't seem to even produce one Camaro for sale to the public that should be fast enough.

I think we need to get a hold of Kana to see if she is up for the driving chores.

As I recall there is already a 2002 Nickey that is about 1200 hp ? And the Pooper Snake has 725 ?

Oh how soon we forget Charley? Isn't that you driving the original pooper snake in all the magazines and didn't you make an obscene profit when you sold the original pooper snake and now your back on the Chevy bandwagon after your love affair with Fords is over? BTW Bob Perkins now has your old 63 wagon, He put a bunch of NOS parts on it under the hood.

Well you have to give Clill some credit for changing his ways.

Those Shelby guys can read right? The Nickey Bill Thomas Alliance built this one and it is ready to take on all comers. Nickey Camaro (http://www.maxchevy.com/features/2009/iv_1-one-1.html)

Well, those Super Snakes are actual production cars and have run solidly in the 10.80's in magazine tests recently. That Camaro is kinda hard to classify as production car, when it is the only one made like that. If it truly makes 1200 horsepower, than it should be a 7-second car and it just doesn't look like a 7-second car to me.

It is a 1200hp car but no traction to make it a 7 second car.

1000 horsepower/830ft lbs of torque....I think that's what it says on the sticker on the air cleaner inlet...

Charley is right...get this car to hook up and http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

There are a few cars that run 7's on a radial tire. That to me is cool. Sure you can have 1000 hp but the key is to get it to hook . http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headbang.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

The 2002 Nickey Bill Thomas Camaro did better than 1,000 hp the first time it was put on a chassis dyno. (Yutube video). Once it was dialed in and the boost was stepped up, it registered 1,200 hp at the rear wheels.

It's a street car,(cold air conditioning and power steering.... etc...) not a full on dedicated drag car. It even handles well! It still blows the tires at half track, like a top fuel car, while it is under full boost. (We now have it dialed back to 1,000hp).

Traction is a limiting factor to maximizing/lowering ets, but that is not what this car is ALL about!!

Another real world example are my Friends at the now defunct, Super Viper Systems. They were able to get their 1,500 hp street twin turbo, into the 9's and to go 250mph on the top end. (Different tires required all around.)

The Nickey BT camaro was built/designed circa 2002. There was quite a bit of "leading edge" technology, incorporated into this car, especially for the Era.

We choose to wait for the new platform (Gen V 2010 Camaro)and continued to develope engine technology for the New Nickey Camaros.

a) We already have a killer twin Turbo set up.

b) We have a naturally aspirated 700 plus hp LS7 427ci.

c) We have a proprietary Roots Blower 700hp LS7 427 ci

d) We may now also have GMs crate LS9 648hp ZR1 engine, available.

We are not looking to compete with Ford or Chrysler on a volume basis. The Nickey Super Camaros will be much more exclusive than any of their offereings. We feel confident that we will have a performance package which will exceed, what the competition has to offer, on many levels.

The Shelby factory unveiled a "Don Prudhomme edition" street legal Supersnake drag package this week at 800HP. I tried to attach a link?
