I love original articles. This is a issue I didn't have, it has a good DH Nova shoot out with 396 427 TH400 cars.

Went antiquing with Stowers and the ladies the other day (Gotta please the girls so they leave us alone) and came across this issue as well as several others. I already had one or two copies but what they heck.......Maybe now one can go on the wall in the showroom.

In reading a reply from Ray, this wasn't his car? So was the 427 car, the one Howie used to own, now in Sadaym's collection? As for the supertuned 396 cars, how many FB cars were converted? Were there any red or green cars either supertuned 396 or converted 427's?

Only the first car in the line might have been mine, but my car sold much later so I don't think it's my old car. My car was sold new with out the glass hood. As far as how and what was converted NOBODY knows.

One thing needs cleared up. They are not DH cars. The cars were ordered thru Fred Gibb sold thru Fred Gibb & Taken care thru Fred Gibb. When Dick Harrell put 427s in Yenko camaros they where not called Dick Harrell cars. They where Yenkos. I think the same respect belongs to Fred Gibb. Thank you for my rant.

[/ QUOTE ]I think the 4:10's would have put it into the 11's it was probably the tires. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gifhttp://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Good chance traction, KCIR beeing my hometown track growing up was a well known quick ET track as well as the 1/8th in Lawrence strip, was great, for some reason they just run great there http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif The new (old) Heartland is even better other than they took Larry's Wrecking yard away to build it http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
