Now we're talkin'! That's a sharp car! Love the fat tires on back and the headers. Since this was a low-horse originally and probably came with a single rear upper control arm, did you add the second upper when you installed the 12-bolt?

Zach Carter

Being that the car had a 10 bolt; yes it had the single upper control arm. When we installed the 12 bolt we added the other one. Quite easy, the factory holes were already there.

Really cool and an excellent color. How much of the paint is original? Under hood looks great!

I had the car repainted. It had one prior repaint before I purchased it, but it was pretty dull. Here is what the car looked like when I bought it.

It is a original Teal Blue car. The color now is the correct GM color from the factory. We mixed it to specs and sprayed it.

Now that.......is some pretty drastic "zero-to-hero" before photos! I'm gonna send this thread to my father, he'll really dig your car, this is how we like 'em: manual brake, manual steering, radio delete, dog-dish hubcaps, etc. I'm also pretty sure that I see a set of those old Mickey Thompson "I-Bone" tread tires on the rear.

Very Nice Biscayne!http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif A friend of mine bought a black 69 Biscayne brand new off the lot with a L-72 427, and a 4 speed. Said he suprised quite a few people with it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3gears.gif

Don Fortson. Car was in Georgia. He has always wondered what happened to it. He sold it for a Chevelle in the early 70s.
