Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Car Show Guide [Archive]

We are in the process of assembling/writing the new Car Show Guide for the upcoming Nickey Chicago Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals.

Since I have absolutely none of the data base or information from the "other " show, we need to be sure that anyone interested in getting one before the show will be able to receive it.

Please send your full mailing address to [email protected] and we will add you to our database and send you the new guide at no cost.

This Guide will be bigger and better than any previous Guide you may have seen...a real keeper! Lots of sYc Members and more feature stories will be included.

We also have limited advertising space available. Let me know if you may be interested in placing an ad. Ads start at just $100.

Those guys had enough driving in that horrible snow storm last year on the eastern side of Ohio!! I remember that, what a mess that was!!

I can't blame em'. Flying you will be there in a little over an hour vs. a long drive... My Wife may fly in Saturday morning...

Does anyone have any info on trailer parking? We are staying at the Doubletree and will be pulling in very late Thursday evening pulling a 46' trailer. I called the hotel and they said there would be parking space a couple of blocks away behind the Rosemont Theater. I'm wondering how secure that is or if there is somewhere else designated for secure trailer parking. Anyone know?

There is a very large Marshaling Yard right by the DoubleTree that is provided by the show with shuttle service. There is security there, and we have NEVER had a problem...BKH

If you are arriving late Thursday, I would recommend parking directly behind the Crowne Plaza, which is right next door to the DoubleTree, as the shuttle does not start until Friday morning.

Use the same directions to get to the check in area behind the theater, but instead of turning left, turn right into the big open parking lot behind the Crowne.

If you don't mind walking .8 miles, the marshalling yard is available also.

See you Friday and drive safe!

We used this a couple of years ago when we arrived on Thursday afternoon. We hailed a cab as we passed the Stephens Center, had him follow us to the Marshalling yard and rode back to the Doubletree.

Where is the marshalling yard? I see the parking lot behind the Crown Plaza and the Rosemont Theater parking lot on this map. Which direction from the Doubletree is the Marshaling yard?
