Since I'll be traveling during breakfast and dinner, and subjected to nasty "travel food", where is a nice place to have lunch near the show (no chain food please).

OK, I pulled out all the stops and asked for some divine intervention. Sent a note to the First Lady to see if the Mayor might have some influence with the Weather Gods. She evidently put in my request 'cause I just received the following report from His Honor:

"I went down the street and asked the little ol lady who lives there what her weather knee was sayin. She said it was achin real bad, meanin more rain. So I beat her with her cane, and shoved her down the steps in her wheel chair. And yelled,"that's for Cumby".

I really need to thank Darren for saving me from another trip to the "snack bar" at MCACN. I had a Sloppy Joe for my second breakfast around 1030 and was contemplating hari kari (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seppuku) when I got the call that the local high end cuisine would soon be arriving.
I was throughly looking forward to a "dirty water" hot dog from a local street vender but what was on the menu surely came from a four star eatery. This Chicago-prepped tube steak came packed with perfectly deep fried potato's, fresh crunchy onions, steaming jalapeño peepers and an exact smattering of mustard.

The only thing I desired after that meal was a nap.
