<span style="font-weight: bold">&quot;This 390 CID/ 4 speed/ Go-Pack AMX was sold new in Sacramento, California on
8/31/1970. Since then, it has had just 4 owners. It is an original and
ultra-rare &quot;Sonic Silver&quot; color car with the highly desirable &quot;Shadow Mask&quot;
black-out paint treatment.&quot;

There were only 4,116 AMXs produced in 1970, of those only 2,533 recieved the 390ci Ram Air Go Package and only 1,632 were 4 speeds.

&quot;Additional rare options include factory &quot;Machine&quot; wheels (1 of 628); Now with the correct E60 X 15 Goodyear Poly Glass Tires!

Black leather interior (1 of just 98);

AM/8 Track radio
(1 of 556); along with other options such as the fold down arm rest and
in-dash tach and gauge package. It is fully numbers matching and is a real
&quot;Go Pack&quot; car with factory Ram Air, rear traction bars, Sure Grip rear axle (3.54 ratio,
4 piston power disc brakes, and optional power steering.

This is one AMX that has never been rusted or abused, and it retains all of
its original sheet metal, interior, and glass. Look underneath, you can
still see shiny Sonic Silver paint on the floors and frame that was applied
at the factory over 37 years ago!

This car has not been restored, but rather maintained and detailed. The original engine and transmission were recently rebuilt.

It is fitted with a &quot;Group 19&quot; style Edelbrock intake and exhaust headers, the extent of its non-factory equipment.

Documentation includes the original AMC Owner Identification Card (the AMC
Protect-o-Plate!), the original owner's manual and warranty book complete
with the original bag from the selling dealer, the original &quot;Shipper Card&quot;
IBM punch card (build sheet), copies of almost every registration and a
comprehensive file of receipts from repairs and maintenance through the
years. It also maintains the original door tag (like a trim tag) which verifies the color and some of the rare options)

It runs and drives incredibly well and is extremely fast.

This exact car is featured in the &quot;Guide to Musclecars&quot; and was also used for the Muscle Car Trading Cards from the early-1990's - it is #151 if you still
have your set! It is a very well known AMX and regarded as one of the best
and most highly optioned examples in existence.

Great AMX's are nearly impossible to find, most have been rusted or modified beyond recognition or have no paperwork to prove what they really are. This is a documented, real-deal, 390 4 Speed Go Pack car in an ultra rare color in truly
exceptional condition.&quot;

1970 is the lowest production year for the AMX and is also the most difficult AMX to restore due to limited parts availability, so finding one in this condition is no small feat!

AMX 390ci Ram Air Horse power was upgraded to 325. So at just 3200 pounds this Muscle car could run with many of the Big Threes best.

Thanks for the help Bruce.

Price is $52,000.00 obo

The new Goodyear E60-15s will be on soon.

Feel free to make all the useless comments about my cars for sale that you like in this forum.

Ok.....I'll start; FYI $52,000.00 is NOT a world record sale for a Rambler.

I forgot to mention that this AMX has celebrity ownership in it's past history.

This car will be a part of our AMC/Ya display, along with a fine array of other AMX's, Javelin/AMX's and Javelins from 1968-74 along with a gorgeous Hornet, a Rebel, several designated race cars and some unexpected surprises.

AMC wil be well represented this year in this display and also in our Cars of Hurst and Class of 1970 displays.

Bob:

What about the Super-Duper Nash? Will it be in its own display area or with the rest of Kenosha's Finest?
