Here is a 1,000 plus HP street engine getting ready for a 2011 Nickey Stage III Super Camaro.

It is the first RHS block with new RHS heads combo to be installed in any car.

if your used to LSX engines ... this is common. tons of guys runnin 1200hp single turbo in daily drivers. its almost retarded. check out LS1tech.com for these builds

We have never touched the lower end of my 2010 Camaro - the LS3 just has cam, valvetrain work, TVS Blower @ 7 lbs, CAI, full exhaust and fuel system. We put down over 700hp at crank without even trying.

The LSX 408 we are building for the '69 coupe is a twin turbo and we squeeze out 1200hp at crank with ease.

Nickey and Bill Thomas built a "Street" Camaro Twin Turbo with over 1,200hp to the rear wheels back in 2002!

The point is not just the peak numbers, but how and when and the engine makes the TQ and HP, as well as the fuel required to get that HP.

Look at the length of time/RPM range this engine is making TQ and HP.

We designed this engine to run on pump gas at 13 +/- pounds of boost.

This engine could be boosted to over 20pds and run on race fuel, but that is not the objective of this build.

We are extremely satisfied with the results.

Just wanted to send a quick note to everybody and let you know what we have going on here at the shop for the month of July. We are running a contest at our new website www.FLP2Win.com (http://www.FLP2Win.com) where you can guess the RWHP of our 2010 Nickey Twin Turbo 427ci Camaro when running race gas. The closest guess to the actual number will win a 40” LCD TV or a Dyno Tune. All you have to do to enter is visit the new website, read the rules to the contest and submit an answer. Also if you have a chance please check out and “Like” us on our new Facebook Fan Page, at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Finish-Line-Performance/125129417555622. (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Finish-Line-Performance/125129417555622) We update this page multiple times a week with videos and pictures from around the shop. So please take a few moments browse the new website and enter to win yourself a new TV or a Dyno Tune.

Just a bit of information on the car for those who don’t know. It is a 2010 Chevy Camaro, it has a LSx based 427ci engine, All-Pro LSW 12* heads, Jesel shaft mount valvetrain, Custom built turbo headers, Precision 68/65 turbos, TiAL 44mm wastegates, TiAL 50mm Blowoff, Custom Bell Intercooler, FAST 102mm Intake with 102 Throttle body. It has currently made 801RWHP with 10psi and 93 octane fuel. Here is a video of the car making that on our dyno. http://youtu.be/SpPardDgAII

Thank you and good luck!

Thanks,
