Speaking of cool wagons, here's an UNrestored version (complete with it's born with 427) that showed up at the NIA convention last week in Kalamazoo.

As rare as it is to see a wood sided 427 wagon, AND in red, there were actually TWO of them there at the convention.

I don't have any inside pics but I remember it looked the same inside as outside! I'd put a trailer hitch on it and take my old Thompson Sea Coaster to the lake with it. ....I'd have to make sure it had posi for the ramp..... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/naughty.gif

I don't know how this one was configured originally, but it looked awfully nice at the Car Craft Nats a couple years ago. Love the colors, the stance, the hideaways..

Unrestored 65 Imapla Wagon 396, TH400 a/c ps, pwr rear window, dual exhaust(an option) paper work and POP. Paint is whipped, typical southern car.

The first and most recent of my Ford wagons. The original paint Viking Blue on Blue '63 Country Sedan was a 70K original mile car that spent its life in South Dakota and Central Washington, so there wasn't a hint of rust on the entire car. C-code 289 2bbl, 3 on the tree feeding a 3.89 open 9" rear. Manual steering and brakes. It was my daily driver for a couple of years in the late 90s.

'57 Country Sedan was a pretty solid old cruiser, sat just right on tired springs. 292 Y Block/auto/power steering. Its down in California now.
