Does anyone know this 1972 442? I like it even though it doesn't have the W25 hood or bucket seats. Great paperwork, too.

Just a note from an olds guy on this car. It is a pretty rare u code 455. The 442 became a trim code in 1972 and most of the 442s were 350 cubic inch cars. The color and the engine option makes this a really nice car. Keep in mind though that the 72 do not have the following of the 1970 or resale value. The car is only in the to 30k and below bracket if it is not restored. A few things jump out in the picture, no oldsmobile script on the fender on a 442. Rear bumper alignment and exhaust are not good so there was some work there too. Nice car though. Lee (Olds guy)

When it comes to these, 455 ragtops are few and far between. Any Cutlass Supreme ragtop with the 455 is worth a look, but this one has proof it was optioned with the 4-4-2 package, unlike most ragtops you see on eBay.
