Im pretty interested in a few Oldsmobiles coming up for sale at the Mecum auction in indianapolis next week. Problem is i have a torn achilles tendon and im on crutches, so i cant make it there. Is anyone here going? There are 2 oldsmobiles there im interested in bidding on and i can still be a phone bidder but ill need a qualified good pair of eyes to inspect the cars for me before bidding. If anyone can do this for me id be glad to compensate you for helping me out, like say $100 per car? Anyone that thinks they can help contact me for details to work the logistics out. Both cars im interested in will be on the block on friday May 17th. You can email me at [email protected] or give me a call at 774-226-3268. Thanks guys- Ray

----Ray,,,The red 67 should have been smog equipped as it was stated to have been delivered to a California customer. I only state this if you care about the car being strictly original. 67 Olds smog parts are exceedingly difficult to come by......Bill S

I saw a 67 smog setup for sale last month at the Olds vendor who sets up in the Charlotte Green field; he had it last year also. Note that from the description the NOM 67 has a 68 motor - a very different engine than a 66-67 400.
