Hi I own this car and it's full restored and correct all around. I will upload a couple of pics so you can add to your 69 copo Camaro list to know she is alive and well.

Thanks

I also have the paperwork from GM of Canada, a letter from the guy at the dealership that ordered it, and a NCRS shipping data report.

Jordan1213 you have to resize pictures now to post them.

Sounds like a cool car.

I owned/restored a 1969 COPO Camaro that is in the registary below.

I would like to forward you the GM of Canada paperwork along with some better pics.

I traced the history and have signed testimonials from all of the previous owners. The gentlemen that originally ordered the car is still living in the London Ontario area.

Can you PM me and forward me your email address so I can send you this info?

Thanks......Paul

I own one of the unclaimed 1969 COPO Camaros in the registry, the last GM of Canada one, 79 79 paint ,on the list

I have photos and the GM of Canada docs, recently restored after being off the road since
1983

I can send the paperwork and some pics once I figure out how, may need some help on that

member Xplant kindly posted some photos on a thread in the Copo of Canada section last December 2016

Thanks ... Tim

I have a 69 yenko, but I am not finding the last numbers of the VIN on the list? I know that it was a Dealer version. How would I track this down? Everything online says to come to supercar registry and run the vin, but I dont see the option anywhere...

"69 Daytona Yellow Yenko" - could be a Jack Douglas car if it's a COPO and stripes were added at a dealer other than Yenko Chevrolet. Post the VIN and pictures - the community here will help figure it out.

vancopo,

What condition is your car in? There were only 4 Fathom Green ZL-1 Camaros ordered by Fred Gibb with an automatic transmission. One of them was supposedly destroyed, one exists as a VIN and trim tag only and one is an original body car and reportedly has it's original engine. Do you have pictures of your car or the trim tag that you could share?

The VIN as well as the trim tag / data plate info will help verify what you have, if the Camaro is not on the Yenko VIN list.

Are you located in Chicago Land and friends with the Gentleman who owns the Hardware stores?

You have 1969 Yenko Camaro serial number 668616 listed as an X11 but your picture of the trim tag is so bad I can't make it out. I have inspected this car in person and have a clear photo of the trim tag and it is actually a X44 as one would expect it to be. Someone needs to correct the records. Thanks

1969 Yenko Camaro 668616 is listed here as an X11 and you have a photo of the trim tag but the quality of the photo is so poor I can't make it out. I have inspected the car in person and have a clear photo of the trim tag and I assure you it is a X44 as you would expect it to be. Please correct the file.

Camaro 9N650383 needs the selling dealer name corrected. The dealership was actually Landers Chevrolet in Hurricane WV, not Danders. One of my Camaros came from the same dealership.

Hello, I am new to this site, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The sort version: I am attempting to document what may be a 1969 Yenko Camaro. I wanted to know where I can find the mythical lists of original VIN numbers. Websites, Private parties, contact information. Thank you.

One way to find your car:
On the opening page of this site, there is a “registry” section. Just click on the year/model car that you are researching. A spreadsheet will come up that contains our best information on the supercars for the year/model that you chose - the lists are in VIN order. The 3 left hand columns indicate “ZL1”, “Yenko”, and regular “COPO”. Just look for your vin on the list.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info on9N663162 Mike. Can you please send me a pic of NCRS or dealer paperwork? Don't doubt your word for a minute, but with the possibility of dealer trades we need to document changes in the registry. Thanks for your help!

bergy

Sold all of the books Mike. Maybe I'll do an updated batch of 100 or so in the future. Meantime - the registry on this site is continually updated for reference.
