I'm really going to the "dark side" now! Couldn't resist these two Mopars today. They've been sitting in a warehouse for a while! Sorry about the picture quality - it was dark and dirty in there!

car#1 - 1969 Factory 440 Dart (600 produced), OE drive train, rotisserie restored, factory blue/black, lots of docs.
car #2 - 1968 Factory Hemi GTX convertible (36 produced), factory blue/white/white, older resto but solid & presentable, no rust

What do you know about the Dart? I am working with a guy who bought one new. The next owner totaled it, he says. He has some paperwork still. It was sold by Lash Motors. They always and weird and one off cars because executive Buck McCurry was from Burnham. He drove in a 68 Charger with a Hemi and air conditioning and left it to be sold as a used car. Always wandered what happened to that car.

The Dart is an automatic, radio delete car that has its born with engine, trans, & rear. All 600 of these factory racers were automatic (4 speed was not a factory option in 1969 440 Darts). Broadcast sheet & original tags in place. Both of these cars are my favorite Mopar exterior color - a bonus!

Almost the same car except mine's blue/white/white and original engine.

I only speak Mopar as a second language, not 100% fluent.

I had a 69 dart swinger with a 340 that car ran pretty good when I was 16, I bet a 440 feels like a rocket.

Thanks - IMO - the GTX has a lot of "flash", but I really love the little Dart. Can't wait to get them in my garage & post better pics.

Oh Bruce... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/drool.gif

Just wondering how big your trailer is, since a M-Code Dart is on my "hit list" for our Class of '69 Invitational display at MCACN this year...

I believe this is the former Otis Chandler car:

I spent all day yesterday retrieving the cars. Their storage "home" for the past few years was not ideal. Here are pictures of them safely in my garage (which is a mess with all of the recent snow & ice melt off!). At least they are safe, secure, and in a controlled environment. As you can see, I have not cleaned them at all.

Bob - I can only bring one car (it's an honor to bring any!). Your choice!

Hmmmm guessing the prudent thing to do as owner of that Dart, is to buy some Goodyear stock....

Thanks Bruce, your continued support and participation is much appreciated. We'll proudly roll with the '70 Hemi 'Cuda for this year!

HMMMMM - I'm pretty sure that it's still got the factory 4" BC wheels on it. So the "driver" wheels will have to be Cragar SS right? Also, I'm thinking red line radials would look good. Thoughts?

well, I think you have some 15 X 7 200S Daisies in stock - I'd go there first!

wow what a score! A good time to buy mopars, they are only going north now in prices...
especially those.
congrats (and if you did not know, like i did not know until recently, mopar had 3 shades of B5 blue from 68-71, I think 68-69 should be same shade).

Beautiful rides! What the story behind them? Where were they sitting? Where in PA do you live so I can maybe come visit?

Wow, A couple of Big Joe's cars. I watched the Kohrs do the resto on the dart. I guess they are finally selling them off.
