My buddy (who is a mopar nut) had a Hellcat park next to him while down in florida, while on business. He filled me in on the experience, when he met the new owner, and he fired it up. I guess the guy drove up to Maryland to get one at sticker for 67K, and drove it back home.

What I thought was so cool, was his description of the car when it was idleing, and then took off down the road. He said that engine just sounds <span style="font-style: italic">'pissed off'</span>. It only made me want one even more!

Had to share....his creative, and likely accurate view of 'pissed-off' 707HP!

After 9 months - I finally got mine. Picked it up Wednesday. It is vicious in every way. Love it.

I was playing with the &quot;Performance Timers&quot; and decided to try a 0-60. Not used to getting a good launch yet....but clicked off a 4.5 and then kept accelerating....because it felt good. The funny part.....I realized I should slow down so I let off and hit the brakes. I look at the read-out and it showed a 1/4 mile of 12.7 @ 87 MPH....lol. That was without trying to do a 1/4 mile and on the brakes. That would have killed 95% of the cars that were around in my neighborhood - back in the day. Crazy

For sure - I need to drive it some more. The launch control isn't available until I hit 500 miles. Hopefully I won't lose my license before then!
