Mike's name cam up the other day in conversation and I then realized that he hadn't been on here in a while. Unless I missed any announcement of his passing-I am posting here so that people are aware.

You can find things on the internet very easy these days-but I wasn't prepared to find this. Mike passed away in November of 2013. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times. So sorry to hear that he's gone....

I knew Mike very well.....He had his 1969 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan Chevelle shipped to me for a complete inspection and certification.

I did know of his passing, very sad. I knew he was having health issues. I suspected something was up when he began selling all of his cars.

RIP Mike

Not too many people on here that are Seattle area natives, like myself !!!

Anybody remember when Mike lived in Burien,WA (think Sea-Tac Airport). His home/property at one
point in time was encircled with unrestored Chevy Muscle Cars. I dont recall any details. Wondering
if anybody knowledgeable would care to comment on this.

I first met Mike at the Puyallup Washington high performance swap meet in the early 90's. I was selling a 65 SS Chevelle and we got to talking and he said he was going to build a 70 SS 396 Chevelle station wagon. I said don't bother, I just finished building one and it was for sale. He bought it and we became friends. His wife, Kathy, became the President of the PNW Chevelle club.
I last saw Mike at one of the last reunions in Collinsville. He had just picked up the green post car from Dan and stopped at my house on the way to the reunion.
Ironically, I just thought of him the other day and was thinking of calling him.
RIP Mike.
