Great musician and singer!! He was even a Beach Boy for a while.

A beautiful song that his daughter Ashley wrote and sings in tribute to her Dad and his Alzheimer's.

A bunch of great songs for sure. His dimentia had really gotten bad. He was better as Lebeoff in True Grit than Matt Damon, but in my opinion, the entire initial True Grit was better. RIP in Galveston.

No more rhinestones for this cowboy! I grew up with his music and it is ingrained in my mind.

Yep -- the county lost another lineman. Little known fact -- he played with the Beach Boys for awhile. TAZ

A true virtuouso. If I could one day play my Les Paul, 1/10th as well as Glenn, it would be a miracle.
RIP

As part of The Wrecking Crew he played on over 500 songs in 1963. He was an amazing guitar player, Eddie Van Halen once sought him out for speed and finger movement lessons.

Interesting side note to casting him in the original 1969 movie...that role was offered to Elvis first....but he demanded top billing over the Duke...that was not to be.

In the final scene that is actually John Wayne on horse back jumping a 4 rail fence...no stunt double.

RIP Glen...
