This thread is dedicated to a 1957 Fuel injected ragtop. 1 of 68 built out of approximately 1,600,000 57 chevys. The only known original Fuelie in Dusk pearl. Survivor in every sense of the word. This is an as found photo I stumbled upon 4 years or so ago 4 miles from my house !! . Last oil change sticker was 1962,only a few more miles on car since then.

I'm not sure where it is today but back around 2000 or so one of our Classic Motors buyers from Kentucky had a 57 2-door wagon 283/283 with less than 4000 miles on it. We never could make a deal on it but had it on the arm for a while earlier. He had it all the way back in 1978 when I was working in Hinsdale at Jack Ds. That's when I met Al Maynard for the 1st time as he came into town to look at it. He never could swallow the price either......Bill S
