Stan:
Did Pat Connell have any info on Central Chev. with his Blue Yenko Nova? If not, I know who owned it before Otis Chandler, and can contact him if needed.

Central apparently sold several '67 Yenko Camaros, including Jim Park's car, it is possible he has some dealer info.

Marlin,

No luck with Pat Connell - neither of the two telephone numbers that you gave me to try worked. Thanks for your help though!

Stan

I will try to get it posted by Sunday if someone doesnt get it to you first. I have the build sheet from my Chevelle and it was sold at Central, it should be on there.

Rowdy,
I guess that is why Pat hasn't sold the Yenko Nova! Nobody can get in touch with him.
Sorry,

Micky,

Thanks again for checking your paperwork. I think you'll find that the first number for the zone is a "2" as 28 was the number for the Cleveland Zone - in 1969, it covered basically the northern 1/3 of Ohio. I was hoping to hear that Central Chevy was dealer 076, but no such luck from what you're telling me. I'm currently working on a 1970 Corvette that came out of zone 28, dealer 076 and am still trying to trace the ownership history of the car.

In any case, I do appreciate you posting the information (I can at least rule out Central as a possibility). If anyone turns up who dealer 076 was in zone 28, I'd sure like to hear about it!

Regards,

Stan

orig69ss,

BINGO!!! I'd say that helps a lot! I've been hunting for dealer 076 for a year and a half without any luck - until now that is!

If there is any chance of getting a photocopy of that window sticker, I'd certainly appreciate it and I'll gladly pay you for for your time and expenses in doing so. Please let me know if you are willing to do this.

Thank you again for your help!

Regards,

Stan

Hey Chuck, I almost mentioned them, sounds like another neat car sold from there. I will look on my Biscayne sticker to see if its on there too.

Well, it was worth a shot anyway. The original owner told me thats where he bought the car, so thats all I really know. It was on the lot, he didnt order it, said someone else did but never picked it up.

orig69ss and Micky,

I want to thank you both again for all your help!

I'm trying to get a photo of the Corvette online so you can get a look at it - one of the car's previous owners took it upon themselves to add some pretty distinctive stripes to the car (too bad - the rest of the car had passable original paint). If it was done early in the car's history (and the car stayed in the Ashtabula area), perhaps you might recognize it...

Stan

You can email it too me if it would be easier and I can forward it on.
By the way, the code was on my 68 Biscayne window sticker also, didnt even think about it until orig69 mentioned it.
