I was looking through some vintage magazines and came across the Jan.70 issue of Carlife. In it Roger Penske shows all the details of how he was setting up his 1969 Sunoco Camaro for Trans-Am racing.
While reading the article a Vintage ticket fell out of the magazine. It is an original Admitting ticket from the May 11 1969 race at Michigan International Speedway.Wolverine 4 hour it was called.
It has a beautiful color photo of the Penske Camaro with the no.6 on its door and its driver,Mark Donahue. Also dated with seat assignment.Very colorful graphics for a ticket.
I am curious now as to where this car is?Has anyone seen or heard of it's whereabouts? Was there more then one or is it in a Museum or still on the road. http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/burnout.gif
