Several of you wanted to see the job Stockton Wheel did rechroming the Cragars. Stockton cut the wheels apart, rechromed them and welded the aluminum center section to the steel rim just like the factory. Chrome is very nice but just a tad thin around the lug nuts but were like this when they were new. Cragar originaly lightly fogged in light silver paint in this area. I will probably do the same. NOS early style caps are shown installed. Overall very happy with the wheels. Pics do not do them justice.

what was the cost if you don't mind. Can Stockton take a ten inch Cragar and build it to a special rim size. We have a pair of ten's that we would like to make into a 7' rim. The ten is a standard bolt pattern, not a uni-lug...BKH

There is a set of 15x7 Cragars with GM bolt pattern on Ebay # 595888505. Stockton charged $300 per wheel. They can narrow or widen just about any wheel.
Both wheels had the rim slightly bent which they repaired perfectly (Cragar used a thinner steel on the rim for the 15x4 VS the other wheels).
Another rim had the valve stem hole drilled for a larger valve stem. They welded it up and redirilled correct size. The chrome is actually better than original. I would only send them nice or very mildy pitted wheels. If they are rusty or badly pitted they will probably not do them as they can be somewhat finnicky if you know what I mean.
