About a year ago there was a '69 BM Chevelle sounded like similar condition that sold for ~ mid $40's and a '69 B-M Camaro shell that the owner wanted $40K for. I am curious as to how the seller knows the production numbers for this car as no one else seems to ever be able to say how many were built. Sounds like a rare one nonetheless.

</A> Unrestored.....$75,000+ ??

OK..why no pictures? Every time I have sold a car I threw in a couple of pictures!!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case, the owner feels a picture out of an old magazine may be worth $75,000. http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/crazy.gif

I just got a reply from the guy w/ 2 really crummy pics. (What's the HTML code to post them here?) Here's the reply:

You are aware that Baldwin Chevrolet and Motion performance are two separate
entities correct? Do you have any Motion documentation? I guess that's what I
was really initially asking. I may be proven wrong but I believe that your
asking price for this car may be a little high...even if documented as a
Motion modded car. I do see that by the VIN it's an SS396 car but even
fully documented and resored Baldwin/Motion cars usually dont go for the price your
asking. Once again, maybe I'm wrong but it'd be nice to see some documentation from Motion if you have any.
