I've noticed a trend towards applying the COPO moniker to about everything even slightly out of the norm. Full size Chevs with optional L72 engines are now referred to as COPOs.

This isn't a COPO either. The L88 package was well publicized and very low production but just another option that was available on Corvettes '67, '68, '69. The COPO process was not necessary to get one.

William, I have noticed the same thing, but as I am not a Chevy guy, I was never sure about it. I recall a '68 427 Impala that they called a COPO for some reason. I figured the 427 was an RPO, so what was so COPO about it? Apparently, nothing.
