Some real ratty Stingers have been selling for some crazy prices lately. I only say crazy as it appears that I could almost get into that Duece that needs alot of work, for not much more money.

The first one someone here almost bought. http://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/shocked.gifYou coulda threw a cat through it.

YS-160 (I don't know anything about the condition on this car), is also for sale........Again? Didn't Rob/Tom Clary just recently sell that car?

I just purchased YS-099 and can't wait to get it home. It will be my third Stinger, and one of the last remaining ones out there with original paint. It definately is the original body. The car had two previous owners.
The other Stinger mentioned above sold for $8.500, which I thought was also a bargin.

The second owner of Stinger 99 had a web site up with pictures of him doing the V8 conversion. I think it is still on the net somewhere.

I'm not sure that it's not a re-body? I'm going to check my trim tag today, and compare it to the pencil rubbing from YS-99.

I'll post my results later.

The trim tag looks good. Congratulations Ed, on your new purchase.

Ed are you going put it together with the V8? or restore it?

I definately will return it to Stinger configuration. I know there is a demand for Crown V8 parts, so I will sell them to help restore the car.
