New to this site and think it's great! I have a interesting car for sale. It's a hugger orange RS-SS Camaro. Originally a 396-375 th400 car that I bought 9 years ago. Car came from Arizona and is a LA built car Oct 1968.Car has all original body panels and no rust. Straight as an arrow and very solid. Black vinyl top, black deluxe interior, cowl hood, spoilers tach and guages, and 140 speedo.Current motor is a GMPP block bought new by myself and has 074 heads and a 195 intake. All top name internals displacing 454 inches and is backed by a Doug Nash 5-speed and a 3.73 posi. Car is violently fast but looks all stock...14 inch ralleyes. All new undercarrige detail and suspension and brakes. Paint is 15 years old and is laquer. Have pictures available.E-mail me at [email protected] or call me at home in the evening at 732-873-5885. Asking 25,000 Thanks.....ALbert

P.S. Have other parts for sale after car is sold...Complete 396-375 motor 9-68 block and heads..steel crank and dimple rods. Stamped for the car but is a restamp(I was taken!)
.......NOS sheet metal..Cowl hood,2 non RS fenders,pass door skin,L&R rear quarters,rear panel,rear decklid,upper and lower valences,cowl,outer wheel houses.

I cannot respond to your email address. Your email apparently is not working. Can you provide further details regarding the ZL-1 motor. What is the VIN and Tag info on the car? Thanks!

Are you guys sending it to the email he listed in his profile or the one he has in the text? His profile has a ' instead of a . in his address. It should be [email protected] not or72@aol'com

I'm just curious as to how you know the 396 is a re-stamp? Is it the VIN or the pad stamp or what?
When you bought the car, did the seller say it was the orginal engine?
I believe 90% of the cars out there are re-stamps that advertise "matching numbers".

I don't know about 90% but would agree with most are restamps.
The reason Al found out was that he could still see part of the Chevelle VIN that was there prior.
I applaud him for stating this in his adv. as it would have been very easy to pass it off as the original engine.

Just wanted to be up front. The majority of the people I have met through Team Chevelle, ACES and now here are GOOD people. I know what it was like to be taken and I don't have the balls to do it to anyone else.If we all are up front with what we are selling, no one gets ripped off and everyone can remain friends. It's just the right thing to do......ALbert

Albert,
The ZL1 arrived just a few hours ago. I love it. One big problem though, traction. I have to mount up my M/T dot slicks just to take it around the block.
This Camaro is just plain wicked!
Thanks,

Stefano

Thanks again Albert, It always a pleasure to get a car which is better than I anticipated.
Your Chevelles must be some fine rides.
