I have contacted this person. He is selling it for a friend. he has not even seen the car.
At this time he has no verification that it is a real car. I am trying to get verification numbers, pics etc.
If it is real I will try to buy it.
Thanks, Gary

Good luck to all. I'm sure the sharks & vultures are already in Arkansas. What are the chances, if it's legit, of it going for 35K? Let the bidding begin!!

I asked Vince Emme today if he knew of this car.He said he had never been contacted to verify.Seems odd car would only have 198 miles with no Yenko dealer in state until 1970.

"never been asked to verify" does not answer the question of whether he knew of the car. Doesn't that make you wonder?

Why is it assumed that the car was bought in Arkansas? There were Yenko affiliated dealers located close to the borders of AR.
R&S Chevrolet in Joplin, MO comes to mind. They are only about 45 minutes north of Arkansas up highway 71.

The car was not bought in Arkansas. The owner claims it was purchased in Pottstown PA. I know of no 69 Yenko's sold there.
I have been chasing this car for two weeks and as yet have been given no numbers to verify that it is a real car.
In addition the owner claims the car is light blue and has no radio, both of which would be incorrect for a 69 Yenko.
I'm still working on this car, but hope is fading that it's a real car.

71LS5;
How far away is St. Louis? There were some Yenko network dealers in that area, like Francis Chev. in Bridgeton, Johnny Londoff in Florissant, and Riley Chev in Jeff City.

From northwest Arkansas, and I am including Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers and Springdale, St Louis would be around 5 to 5 1/2 hour drive. Kansas City would be around 4 hours. I can get to Dallas in about 5 1/2. Heck, Little Rock is 3 hours away and that's in the same state.

Any update on if it's a legit car?
