Most of you already know that our '69 Yenko's best ET was a 12.95, until yesterday when that ET was beaten twice!
Dad broke the record first, and held it for about 2 hours, and even threatened to fill in the blank space on our Certified Stock decals with the new ET! Here is dad's record run:

So, there for about 2 hours, dad was the big wheel, and everyone was saying that HE should have been the one driving the car the past couple of years! And after seeing his 60' and his ET, I was agreeing!
So, I make a pass, and run a 13.1x, and catch all kinds of heck in the pits about the old man posting a better ET. One more run for me, and the pressure is on this time. This time, I'm running Barnhart in his ZL-1 drag car, so I know I need a decent reaction time and 60' to make the run look a little more respectible. I treed him, and almost immediately watched him carry the front wheels by me, as I watched tail lights for the rest of the run. But, the final results were worth it:
