Mike, is this the car you were asking about? The article states that it is a 72 Corvette built by Motion to showcase the Motion glass parts. It has a turbocharged 350 and custom interior. The article states that this car was a big hit wherever it was shown and was sold for $22K.

Are you joe58 on www.corvetteforum.com (http://www.corvetteforum.com)?

Is this (http://www.c3sharktank.com/techinfo/motions.html) ('74 Motion Spyder) guy here on www.yenko.net (http://www.yenko.net)?

yes. Mike (sixtesmuscle) was looking for Spyder pictures and info. Not sure if he has seen that web page with the red one on it yet.

It was hard to tell from the 2 pictures I have of the '74 red one, but on that yellow one, it's pretty obvious that those are the Greenwood fenders in the rear.

Would it be possible for you to scan the article as well? High enough resolution for us to read it /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif

Thanks!

Mine is the red Phase III, 468. It needs about $20,000 in "little things".

Phase III or the Spyder?

Can you update your profile to include your info. Click on "My Home" and then edit the profile. /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif Thanks!

I have a Maco built using the kit purchased from Motion. It was purchased in 1973 and took the guy (Carmen Peterson of Corvette Limited Sales in NC) 10 years to build. Extremely high quality work with a lot of details that aren't found on any of the others. Details on my Maco can be found here (http://www.makoshark2.com/djunod).

Attached is one picture of it...

Mike; I hope the little things your Can Am car needs isn't from this little mishap /ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif

That's a good one Marlin, but, mine was the prototype/show car. It never raced.

The Camaro for sale on Ebay is claiming to be a SCCA car. Didn't notice if there was any documentation to prove if it's the real McCoy.

Says in the ad that he has the SCCA logbooks and those would document its racing history.............RatPack............
