Most probely thought of this day and it would have just passed you by. Today marks the 61st Anv of the attack on Pearl Harbor which lead to the US's entrance into World War II. Please give a min out of your day today and give some thoughts to those who paid the utmost by giving their lives. Both Civilians and Military were lost that day and out of the 1400 sailors assigned to the USS Arizona 1103 lost their lives and still reamin below the surface of the water entombed in this great ladies hull. She still seeps oil today and if you ever get to hawaii make it a must see visit.
Again please take a min out of your day to remember those lost not just here in Hawaii but in all wars and conflicts that the US and our allies have been in. Mahalo http://usgovinfo.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.chinfo.navy.mil/navpalib/ships/battleships/arizona/bb39%2Dariz.html

(on a side note, if it was not for Elvis (yes Elvis) the Arizona Memerial would never have been built. He donated the first 50K to it and then the money from 2 concerts he performed in Hawaii,

For those of you from this board who have served this AF retiree thanks you
