All right fess up. Who bought the engine and ended the auction early? I wanted to see what that brought in an era of $2000 wheels and $3500 alternators.

But I'll bet the Alternator prices are next....

You're right. A bit sleepy when I wrote that, but there'll be lots of examples of high priced parts. I seem to remember an $800+ endura bumper jack recently.

Maybe some of our cars are moving to be examples of the whole being less than the sum of the parts...
