Dennis, It is like Reynolds says, Ralley Green. The car is much more brighter metallic green than my photos show. For some reason I may not have set something right in my camera or scanner.

Whitetop, I was going to put vintage Mags on this car, as it did have them on it when delivered new by Dick Harrell. But, it has ralleys in the magazine article/photos about 20 years ago of this car when owned by Scotty Slay, plus had ralleys on in it's photo as featured in John Hoopers Camaro book. So, after the "what-color-to-paint-it" discussion on the ZLX, I'm concerned the Restoration Police might arrest me for putting the mags back on. Ha-Ha /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Of course I'm just kidding; remember that was one of your jokes a few months ago. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Just curious, what kind of mags were on the car when it left Harrells shop? Are the Sun gauges in the car the originals?

P.S. The attachment shows what a Ralley Green '69 Camaro looks like with Cragars. Hint Hint /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You could switch them every couple months or so. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Kevin,

When I was looking at the car, Scotty Slay mentioned the car originally had white stripes that Dcik Harrell added, but he was not sure of the exact configuration. Do you have any further information about this? BTW, love the colr combination. Nice car! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Whitetop I'm starting to think you own a lot of stock in Cragar !!!!

The only stock I have in Cragar are some good used rims in the basement waiting to be rechromed at Stockton. Spares for future projects.

A guy I went to HS with bought a '69 Z, burnished brown with white stripes back in '79. Looked at the odometer 2 summers ago and it was at 8900 miles. Yep it has Cragars on it. No girlie man 14x6's either(like Ratpack sorry if I offend someone but not my preference) but 15x4's and 15x8 deep dish in the rear with honest to goodness L-60-15 bias ply Kelly Springfield Super Chargers.
I've been meanin to get pics of the car. Typical '70's piece-lakewood bars, Sun gauges, Mr. G vertical gate, torker intake etc.

Never was a big fan of dark brown until I saw that car with Cragars in the sunlight and white painted headers sticking out underneath. Have been a Cragar nut ever since.

Kevin,

I wonder if your car had the Kelsey Hayes wheels and paint by "OOPS"? Sure looks nice.

Hiya Kevin;
Nice Harrell car. I love that Rally Green. When you had pics of this car on your site, was it restored or original? One would think it would be more unique if left in original condition due to such a very few being in original condition nowadays. Nice car nevertheless.
