Hi Jeff, Yes, I did see that car and emailed the owner last week for details. It sounds like a decent driver quality car with the usual rust repair (quarters, fenders, trunk pan and dash etc.). I figured it was a $30,000 car or so...but, given the $40,500 bid this morning, I guess I was wrong /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I have followed these cars pretty closely over the past 5 or 6 years, and I have to admit that the last couple of sales are making me question my knowledge of the market. $40K for a driver. What the heck is going on? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Thanks for the lead /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

Zedder,

I would think a '67Z would be in the same league as the Yenko Deuce. What does a nice driver Deuce go for now?

I think the market is finally getting to where it should be. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif They have been cheap for there rarity, market adjustment as more people are being better educated about these cars. Roger

68Topstock and Roger: I hear what you are saying and certainly don't disagree. I guess I'm just struggling with the increases in prices during the past year or so. As for rarity, that certainly isn't the only factor - look at '69 Z prices. Seems the going rate is in the mid-$50's now and they made 20,000 of those! I guess I should have bought your white car Ken when we talked about it a few years ago /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif In the end, if I want one bad enough, I'll just have to pay the price /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
