FARMER DICK BARONE! THATS WHAT THEY CALLED HIM ON TV AND IN HIS ADS. I JUST REMEMBER THE ADS FROM THE 70'S AND 80'S I THINK. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scholar.gif

I lived fairly close to Farmer Dick Barone facility. He was on Baltimore pike, across the street was a great hamburger joint Charley's. It Brings back memories, a friend of mine purchased a used 70 l78 chevelle in 1973 from the dealership. Not known as a hipo dealer that I can recall, although he had some funny radio adds.

He traded it in to Rudy Valentino Ford for a mustangII king cobra. I just remember him spanking many other 396's (they were l34's) and did not know why... thought it was his driving.

Thanks to all. I was just wondering if they were a big hi-po dealer. I didn't realize they were still in business, so, thanks.

John, if they are still in business, can you give me their phone number? I'd like to see if they have any paperwork on a car sold new there. Thanks, Mike
