I am in need of a GTO white lettered Grill emblem off a 65 ->69 GTO. If you have one that the lower bar is broken that would be OK too. I need it to do a comparison on a size question I have.

Thanks

I actually need it for my Baldwin Motion Phase III SS424 GT Vette. I think that Joel used it for the rear GT letters on the back of the car. It is the only car that he did this on as they came out with the 454 in 70 and didn't make a SS454 emblem on the Impalla like they did on the '67 impalla.
so I need this to finialize my last piece of proof to Joel, that this is his first GT vette that he had in the NY auto show.
You can see what I am trying to do on this web page = http://home.swbell.net/vette-65/69_motion.html

Thanks

Yeah it's GTO for sure /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif, To me it looks like a rear quarter emblem for 65-6-7, If you want I can dig up all the emblems and I'll get some pic's of them together or what have you, there all NOS but I'm sure we can find the exact part

The rear emblem is black in the center and is smaller. I have found a couple of cars here in town and measured them and the white Grill emblem has to be the one that he used. all the rest are not as fat in the stroke (width) of the letters. Also the grill is the only one that comes in white. They used the same one from 65 -> 69 from what I can figgure out.

Thanks for your offer and see if I am not right? If you have a NOS one please let me know.
