Found this little ad for 1969 Yenkos in Oct 1968 SCCA newsletter. Lists a 427 Chevelle Stormer.
I guess it was Don just playing with one of the old "S" names he used in the 1967 ads (Stinger Stormer Stomper)
On the bottom it has "It's What's up front that shouts"

Whether he was encouraging buyers to "be a swinger in a stinger" or speaking of it's "big bee under the bonnet" Don Yenko always seemed to have a cool way of saying it. Even when he used the "meet the mean ones" slogan to introduce the '69 427 lineup some 35 years ago, it still leaves a lasting impression. My personal favorite Yenko created nomenclature is the Stinger Vega car cover listed in the "Stinger Stuff" catalog, aptly dubbed the "Stinger Clinger." /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

JoeC has some neat stuff, and is a very knowledgeable enthusiast... he's shown me more than a couple items, ads, and articles I have never seen before! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
