Anyone here know anything about the 1968 Berger Nova SS that was for sale on www.cars-on-line.com (http://www.cars-on-line.com) a fews months ago? Not many details were given about the history of the car or the asking price. Would this have been a COPO car possibly? I had no idea Berger Nova's even existed. Anybody care to shed some light on Berger Nova's?

Thanks,
Hotrodchev

The Nova experts will correct me if I am wrong but I believe the verdict of this car was that it was originally sold out of Berger Chevrolet; not a Berger Prepped Super Car.

I spoke to the guy selling this car over a year ago. It is a small block car that was converted to BB. My understanding is the car was originally sold by Berger and they have a POP to verify it. The car appeared in several on line sites and might have been in Hemmings. The conversion looks nice in the photos I have seen, but has more of a hotrod look rather than a period correct BB. Don't know about current pricing but originally he was asking around 8k-9k. I'm sure it is "slightly" more in it's current form. 68's are hard to find with any motor, might make an interesting driver.

Well you know Berger sold a lot of Novas. They also sold a lot of Kingswood estate wagons and what ever else Chevy had.I have a 70 Z/28 that came from Berger but I'm sure it was a lot car and nothing special. Not all Berger cars were super cars for sure. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif
