That has to be the most awesome Chevelle ever made! I love that car! I would love to know what kind of time it would run with the headers uncorked and a pair of slicks! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

One question. I see in the description that it came with Cragar S/S wheels. Did you go with the Torq-Thrusts because of personal preference? They do look great on the car!

Looks a lot like Joe Barr's Yenko Deuce. Picture and title seem to be off. What's goin on here Rob?

Do this with your Internet Explorer window open...

"Tools", "Internet Options", "Settings", then select the "Every visit to the page" box.

Now you will get the latest page EVERY time you visit a site...

If you looked "Supercar" up in the dictionary that is what they should show!! That is my favorite supercar of all times!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

BKH could you please tell us a little of the cars history? Did Joe buy it from the original owner? How did it stay so nice for so long?

Yeah, Richland is right in the middle of the Hanford Nuclear Site. I was 6'4" Senior in HS, then 6'7" Freshman in college...hmmm.

One word synonomous with Steve Sandlin, quality person and quality cars! I can't wait for the finished product if it wasn't in Hot Rod this past edtion! He may be the Ls6 King, of course his cars have to handle his height. whatever he touches will be quality, Aloha was the right choice! congratulations to both, one great idea! best of luck! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

That color combination reads Dick Harrell all over it! Too bad the first red '68 Chevelle never made it to the strip, or pat the glamour year of 1969. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Congratulations Steve, on your impeccable taste. You must feel like your in high school again. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The car never has Cragar SS wheels. I don't understand where that info comes from. The car still has the original A/P five spokes mounted on the original Delta ww tires.Steve has chose to let the car "sit" on repo red stripe and a restored set of mags to keep the gennys stored untill special occasions. There is a picture of Dick Harrell with his hand on the car when it was new clearly showing the A/P's and Delta tires. To my knowledge it never had a Cragar SS. The car also did not have the Hurst Shifter or the scatershield. Items listed on the option list for Harrell but not installed on this car...BKH

That's true, after looking again, those boxes weren't checked on the sheet. Trying to hurry when Rob emailed me yesterday to send pics/info. It's true that it is Red and has black vinyl top. Haste makes waste...sorry guys. I'll send Rob the corrections.

Now that my Internet Explorer problems are solved... I saw this car for the first time 2 years ago at the reunion. I spent a lot of time looking at it as well as a lot of memory space taking pics of it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

Instead of logging in at the discussion forum try logging in at www.yenko.net (http://www.yenko.net) and you should see the feature car.

It should be noted that this car has not been restored and only has (if memory serves me correctly) approx. 11,000 miles
