Congrats to Mark. Even getting invited to an Eyes on Design Classic Car Show is a great honor. It is "by invitation only" and to be invited means you are in the top 1/10 of one percent. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif to ya Mark!

Yes, Congratulations Mark!!! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

I had the pleasure of meeting Mark, his wife Ginnie, and his son Mark this weekend at the show. They are super nice people http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif & I couldn't be happier for them!

Here is a photo I shot of Mark & Ginnie in front of their awesome Baldwin Motion Camaro the end of the day. Without a doubt, this was one of the coolest shows I have ever attended. Perfect weather combined with the beautiful grounds of the Edsel & Eleanor Ford Estate made for a great setting for all the nostalgic race cars such as Gassers, Rails, Funny Cars, Indy Cars, Trans Am cars, and especially, our beloved Muscle cars! I will be back tomorrow with more pics and coverage of the show. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

First of all it was GREAT meeting Rita and her husband Bill who gave me and my Family a WARM WELCOME!! You had to be at this show to APPRECIATE all the Cars and the way the show was run!! My Class was called "STREET RACERS--PAST and it consisted of 14 cars: '70 AMC 390 Javelin, '64 Ford Galaxy 500, '70 Ford 429 SCJ Torino, '70 Dodge Challenger RT (Dave Dudek's) '70 YENKO NOVA, '62 Pontiac Catalina, '66 Oldsmobile 442 Hardtop, '66 Ford Mustang GT 350, '70 SS 454 CHEVELLE, '63 Impala SS, '64 Plymouth 426 HEMI Savoy, '67 Plymouth GTX, (Rita's husband AWESOME '69 Pontiac Royal GTO also but was display only). I am VERY HUMBLED to have WON the CLASS--All the cars in the Class were OUTSTANDING!! The judges were mostly active or retired automobile designers and very Respectful of the cars and their owners.
Matt Murphy was in the "STREET RACERS--Present" with his Harrell Zl-1 CAMARO (car sounds GREAT).

They then pushed Mark's car out in front of all the other cars and placed racing flags around it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Next, after having Mark fire up his Camaro to draw everyone's attention to his car, they came around with a loud speaker and interviewed him in front of the spectators, media and press. He did a great job on the mic! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Here is my husband's Royal Bobcat GTO at the beginning of the row. Like Mark stated, his car was not in competition since he was the "class coordinator" and the one who located the the cars for the class.

Here is a picture I took of Phil's Nova at Autorama. I do not have any more pics from the EOD show. Most of our pics were taken with a regular camera and I do not have them yet.
