Don't care for replacement block and floor color is wrong for a restored car of this caliber!!!

Rare you can say that for sure,
I have owned mine for 24 years finnaly restored it in all that time of car shows, US and Canada I Have only seen 3 documented not Clones L78 s. I also went to many chevelle showdowns in the old days and only saw one. So if there is one out there with the origional motor you might want to talk to your bank manager to mortgage the house.
The l78 that has been relisted its a verry nice car How much is it selling for?

Nope. It came that way. I took the car to Chevelleabration? in about 01 and I spoke with a guy who still owned the 1970 L/78 he purchased new and guess what our cars were built on the same day and his had the rocker trim when new also. Everyone told him it was wrong so he took it off when he restored the car. m

Just listed on E-Bay. I don't know if you were looking for a coupe only.

That one has been on Ebay several times. I think it usually ends at around $125,000 to $140,000 with the reserve not met.

MARK
THE 488 are better than you described them they are mint.
I have a 12 bolt complete now just in case I need it some day. You sold the 70 L78 for WHAT. Too bad I did not
know you before. Owning two L78s would be better than owning one. As you know I have a (chubb) for a 70 ss bb NOva 4 speed preferably an original low mile. Might you have one kicking around somewhere, for sale EH!

Mark,

1970 L78, 4spd (not sure which), Black (mostly original paint), stripe delete (this is documented), original motor, tranny, rearend. Black bucket seat interior. Documented with at least POP and BS. I saw car in person and it is very nice.

Let me know if you are interested in this car. The owner is down-sizing his collection but has not announced this to the world. He does not want to be inundated. If interested, I will be happy to approach him. This car is in Phoenix area.

Sam
