Found these in an old CC special edition. I want a '65 Nova with a Rat and a straight axle...

This one belonged to Dick Harrell.

The Chevado is awesome.. It was actually licensed and street drivin! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I've got tons of pics of that thing.

Here is a cool site with lots of info about it and some great pics.

Would any of those pics be ones taken by you or any other than the ones that were in the magazines? We are always trying to find private photos of Chevado.

I just got my new Hot Rod magazine and inside is a story on how to build a "match bash" car. They're using a '64 Fairlane and the builder has a website: www.performanceking.com (http://www.performanceking.com) Look under the "historic photos" section for some really great '60s color drag racing photos, mostly of altered wheelbase F/X style cars. Check out the killer '65 Nova in the attached picture! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

That's Steve Bovan in the Blairs Speed Shop entry. Blairs built and sponsored a lot of Gassers and A/FX cars on into the early AA/FC cars. They also built the bullet proof axle for our car. Here are a couple more pics.

Hi Bud,
Lets see Chevado comes and goes as needed. Also have a Pro Street '74 Charger Blown 528 Crate motor, C/Gas '55 Chevy, A '63 Vette A/FX I may even drive it someday before I die. Needs a ton of work!A '57 Nomad Will be Chevado II someday, A few old Power Wagons.
I have heard tales about the GT 500 but I have never seen it. Some of these Dairy boys don't even know what they have. A friend just bought a non working Dairy and when he went to clean out the barn he found a '57 Nomad! (Now Mine) http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gifand a complete '64 GTO http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif It had been used as a feed trough http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif He kept that one. There is a guy on the Mt. Baker highway that has a barn full of sixties Chevys Bel Airs, Camaros won't sell any. Must be twenty in there. Says he is going to fix them all up http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif He must be in his seventies now he better hurry up http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

hey you have some nice toys...when you get a chance post a couple pics of them..especially the '55....yea those dairy boys are something else...I chased a 67 396 4spd red/red Chevelle for so long it was crazy...motor was out and smoked...but the car was a real low mile car... it was so nice it hurt and the dang thing was covered in Pigeon dung...it sat at Tommy's off the pole road for years in his shop...guy would not sell it..claimed his kids were conceived in the back seat...lol....did that car ever kick loose??????

sent ya pm, Bud.
