Lane Automotive (Exact Detail) is helping a local radio station in a promotion they do every year where they build and give away a muscle car and asked for the help of the other entusiasts.
Scott Wahlstrom from Lane Collectables has asked for assistance in locating a nice '70 Malibu, V8, automatic, that runs and drives and is basically solid and sound requiring a mimimum of body repair. The station's budget is between $4,000-7,000 for this purchase. Color is not a factor as the car will be painted yellow and a black interior is prefered though not manditory. They would also prefer using a base model as opposed to an SS to keep the price down. Lane may also tie one of their die cast models into the giveaway car.
