Everytime I see a 32 Deuce, I think of American Grafitti, one of my favorite movies. Didn't see John Milner in the photo though..... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

That yellow Deuce is the one from American Grafitti. Milner was there, seated in front of Deuce, signing autographs. The Laverne and Shirley chick was there too. Milner didn't look too good...

That is so cool! So Cindy Williams was there too? That would have been a great show to go to. The "American Graffiti" 32 Duece wasn't for sale, was it? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Denis, Was the '55 Chevy next to the '32 the actual one used in the movie? Do you have any pics of it? Thanks

pretty sure the 55 was a tribute car..it was cool but I did not notice the camera mounts hanging out so I did not snap any pics...somewhere on this board we discussed the cars in length last year..

I think that's the "Roadster d'Elegance" trophy for the winner at the Oakland Show. Over the top, eh?

My guess would be it was a tribute car as well. (pics would be NICE though http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif).. Far as I know the REAL 55 Chevy that was in the movie is still owned by a guy in MD and is personalized to his taste as a show car. The sister car to that (the camara mount car) is for the most part restored back to the way it appeared in Two Lane Blacktop. (both cars were used in TLB years before American Graffitti was filmed). Likely the 3rd and 4th 55 Chevys used in Graff are loooong since junked. (1 was rolled and the other was burned in the movie)

yea the pics are awsome..wish they were bigger..note the shot of them lined up..you can tell that was take two..??? there is nice set of posi tracks from the coupe...I didnt catch the tracks until I had the photo at home..really cool stuff...Ed there was a mob of people around the area and when I saw it was not the real car I saved the film for more important stuff....like "She Devil" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Denis
