Great pics, Vince! Did you get to see any of the F.A.S.T. racing? If so, do you happen to remember any ETs?

chevy454: there was a few f.a.s.t. cars there that were running 13 sec range. the shocker for me was one of those dodge srt cars ran 12 something and blew away a 70 chevelle in the process http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif wow. there was alot of modifieds screaming down the track.there was actually some really tight racing.there was also a 69 hugger orange camaro running 7.70s all day at like 175mph really cool.
xplant: yes there was some real nice muscle there one that really caught my eye was i think a 64 biscayne with a 409 4 speed with three deuces. man that car was sweet. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif.
york us70 cant get here fast enough http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Well, then you must have missed the *real* F.A.S.T. cars run! Because Wayne Nelson (he goes by L88 CORVETTE (http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showprofile.php?Cat=0&User=1670&page=1&what=showme mbers) here) ran a 10.97 to set the new class record! And our buddy JJ was runner up with an 11.6x in his "Certified Stock" Corvette!

There was a pretty good showing I thought. 30 cars were registered in a combination of F.A.S.T and factory stock (me). Saturday had a rain delay in the afternoon, but Sunday was a full day, sorry I couldn't stay for that.

Congrats Wayne!!

I ran pretty badly myself, although I was traction challenged as you can see
