I just wanted to check in to see who is all going to the reunion from Minnesota? I live in the Minneapolis area and wanted to see if anyone was driving and possible looking for a co-pilot. I would be willing to chip in on the gas money and possible room if anyone is going down solo. I was debating on flying, but thought that I would try this avenue out first. That and it would be more fun to have someone to B/S with on the way down to the big show. Drop me a line if anyone is interested. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

I'm flying in. I saw Ken Boje on Saturday but forgot to mention this to him. Chad told me he may not be able to make it. Earl? Jim?

Hey, Rick I got a hold of both Earl and Jim. Jim isn't going to be able to attend and Earl didn't know for sure, if he does go he said that he would probably fly in also. Do you know of a good way to get a hold of Ken? I guess if all else fails I might have to look into the flying option myself. It would probably be a lot cheaper that fueling up my truck for the journey. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

Just an opinion, a ticket to St. Louis is $229 for me to fly and only a couple of hours of time. Last weekend was 18 hours drive time to the Gibb show and 4 tanks of gas at $50 per tank. Doesn't take long to do the math. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Ken can be found via e-mail at [email protected] I do not have his phone number. Good luck, hopefully something will work out as it would be nice to see you there.

Unless I'm hauling, I would never drive more than 4 hours when I can fly. Then factor in what gas costs in addition to your time spent if you also have a job or are taking time off from a job. Then the aggravation and the constant lookout out for Smokey and his special brand of speed traps, its not worth it to drive.

Forgot to mention that http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif If I had my own rig it would still not be possible for me to drive that long...it's a medical thing !!!

Jesse,

I am picking up my buddy Rick L. in Quincy IL, who will be rooming with me. After the show, I'm headed up to Kenosha, WI, to visit my son, who is playing for the Parkside FC team. The campus is just north of Chicago, so won't be able to help you out this year. Good luck, I would fly if I were you. The drive is boring, unless of course you are stopping by LaHarpe to have breakfast with Herb Fox. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for all the input guys. I checked on a plane ticket and it looks like I can get a round trip for $207 with taxes. So, I think that is the way that I will probably go. Is anyone flying in to St. Louis on Thursday afternoon that would want to share a ride to the host hotel? I'm not positive on the exact time yet but just wanted to check and see. Also if anyone has any interest in sharing a room I'd be interested in hearing from you. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif Jesse
