One of the very special Gibb Novas was delivered yesterday by way of the old dealership......

You can not beat the hostpitality that we received while in La Harpe. Everyone treated us very well.

The John Oehler took position of a very special Nova. Check to make sure your NNN Subscription is up to date to follow the full build up.

I will post more when I get off the road.

No surprise there; one of the friendliest spots on earth! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Hey Helen; nice job with the "Matching Outfit" too. Fathom Blue slacks with a Matador Red jacket http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif....... (or should I say Blazer!) Looks like Wayne Bushey did a great job on that one http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gifIt's always nice to witness a resurrection of one of these special Novas. Guess he'll start on Kevin's G/H 427 next. Seeing those cars together brings back memories of when they could be bought(unrestored) for around 12-20K. Kim H probably remembers seeing them for 3-9K. Right, Kim?

Like Cumby mentioned, Helen blends right in with the colors she chose to wear for the picture with the Novas. Very nice looking restoration on John's car. Happy to see a red one done. Now all 4 exterior colors of the 50 Gibb COPO Novas are alive and well represented. Great to see it brought back to LaHarpe to be picked up by John. Ray

Ray,
I'm anxiously awaiting next year's show in LaHarpe, and the "Gathering"!!!

There WILL be photo opportunities in front of the Big Bow Tie, and I hope at the old Dealership! I see a STRONG likelihood of having all four colors represented, all three versions in Fathom Blue and possibly six of the cars in one spot. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

I'll even go so far as to offer the challenge! Whaddya think guys and ladies? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

I'd like to see that idea of the Ole Dealership being turned into a Museum someday.

That was very close to becoming a reality just a couple of years ago.
