True, Dale became Lynch in the mid-'70s.

Dale deserves to be recognized as a volume Hi-Perf dealership. They had at least 8 COPOs including 2 Gibb ZL1s one of which was raced locally as "L'il Brother Hugger". Us old farts will never forget one of their JL8 cars, yellow/black RS with yellow houndstooth. Lots of Z/28s and L78s in stock at all times. I believe they were also one of the largest Corvette dealers. A Yenko dealer for 1970.

These are the same people i purchased the last one from. I asked if they had any other dale chev. stuff and they said no. They must find this stuff at garage sales as they are in the area.

I got all 5 of the Dale plates I've had (the one on my car, the one on the Moses/LVCamaro Deuce in the picture above - bkh's reference to a cut finger was from putting it on the car, the one I passed on to Schonye, the one that CamaroJoe has in his collection, and one spare) from these same people. They're real nice folks, just wish they had more stuff...

I have bought three Dale plates from that same seller also.
He's careful not to flood the market with them all at one time.
I cut my finger too. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

There's one on the front of John Jensen's fb auto deuce, thanks to Jeff, that was at last years reunion if someone can post it. I would if I knew how. Moses has some interesting stories about Dale. I talked to him the other day. He almost bought a place in Miss. that got hammered by one the those storms. Still plans on goin South, but not quite as close to the ocean.
