Thanks for the interest,

Here is the brief history on the car, I bought it from a family in the Twin Cities(MN) area in 1996-1997. The car was primarly trailered up to a few street/drag events in Brainerd.
I drove it for 2 summers and had a carb fire in the motor at the end of the second summer, so I decided to take the oppurtunity to clean up the motor...thus the condition of the hood and fenders,
I also replaced the front end suspension bushings etc, it has sat ever since. The motor is a 396, but not the original, the trans is a M-21 four speed...not sure if it is original. I believe the rear-end is
org, but I have pull it out of the garage to see. The motor and trans need to put back together the and the hood re-painted along with the fenders. The body is in GREAT condition.
It is a bench seat car, vinyl top, etc. So it has sat in my garage in 3 different states for almost 10 years. It is a paint delete code car - - as you can see on the post.
The color currently is Hugger Orange and it 'looks' like it has been that way probably from the start with the vinyl top. I am asking 12,000 or best offer. Though I would like to
finish it, I probably wouldn't get to it for another 10 years. It really doesn't need much to be beautiful driver. As far as documentation, I really haven't dug into it.
The back seat/gas tank haven't been dropped or pulled, it has all the big-block signs and all the SS badging. The - - paint code makes the car unique, but as far as how....I
will leave that to someone else. Let me know after reading this if you are still interested via the board and I will give you a call. Thanks,

Shaun

I think I saw this Nova crusing down (on a trailer) south on I-380 between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, IA - was this that nova? looked real nice - no front clip.

you've got good eyes...

it was indeed that car http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

it is now safe in the hands of good doctor ken the nova specialist http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

only one problem....
kens place is busier than a doctors waiting room.
oh well it's kind of like waiting for a seat at your favorite steak house, once you get in you've got it made http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yep. That was it. Shaun was dead on with his description. I've tore it appart trying to prove it was not a hugger orange car, and am now 99.9/100 sure it is. Also many good indications that it was an L78. Enough that I would bet it is. The body is in amazingly good condition. I see no sheetmetal replacement. One of the best novas I've ever seen from a no rust stand point. I need a good a$$ kickin for not buyin it myself. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
