Gold with dark green gut is definitely an odd combo, COPO or otherwise... I sorta dig it.

The color reminds me of the family kitchen circa 1972!

At the bottom of the COPO page they say estimated value at $250k to $300k?? I think they'll be in for a shock when it cross's the block.

Andy, I hope they get that price! That old dog you sold me now has Minilites showing off the JL-8 brakes. It really attracted a crowd at a local show two weeks ago. No, you can't have it back. Tex T.

We have pictures of our SS396 Chevelle beside this car at Waterdown several years ago when the car was still owned by Barry Allen. I believe he owned the car for quite a few years before it went south of the border.

Just to clarify, I was the fourth owner of this Z/28. It is a factory JL-8, but it was not built with the cross-ram or factory glass hood. I added the cross-ram in 1978 and still have the bill of sale for it! I went to Oklahoma to purchase the rare glass hood, and tied it down to the roof of my '73 Challenger for the trip home. I obtained the blueprints from GM for the glass hood and accessories, as I needed to make the cables and support rod for it.

Did any get really get delivered with the parts in the trunk, hood in a box and noted on an original Window sticker or dealer invoice, which did not come thru the parts dept?

I just had to mention that a VERY nicely restored Oly Gold Green Interior (unusual) L-78 69 Camaro resides in the Seattle area....

You would be amazed at how the auction houses will butcher (edit) a properly written description of a car. When I had my Z11 up for auction a few years back, I provided the alleged "auction house" with a very specific, very accurately written description of the car and its provenance. Instead of running it as is, they had some 17 year old high school drop out who failed English grammer, edit the thing into an unrecognizeable, disjointedly dislexic tome on "cameros." When I saw the proof, I told them either post the description as I wrote it or I am pulling the car from the auction and forwarding all the future material misrepresentation lawsuits to your attorneys. (Unfortunately for me, they agreed to my demand - I should have pulled the listing. The auction was a disaster and I drove the car home from NYC at 1:00 am on a September night...)
