Neat car. I do not see how it can get much better than this. Is that a Hurst shifter in the car? If so I think that is a great addition.

Technologically handicapped at times, That is a Hurst, those are REAL Motion valve covers (grew up 4 miles from the place)and a full compliment of Sun Tach/Gauges. Next are the XT's and some NOS NMW two tabs, then off the to the old street racing haunts to see if any of the old idiots like me are still around.!

Alignment is tomorrow, then we start packing on the miles (weather permitting) to get everything broken in. Thanks again for the shims, BIG Easter Sunday parade in Garden City, they have been having it for 30 or 40 years or so, that is what I am shooting for, usually a couple hundred cars if the weather is nice

loaded the entire family in 2 days ago and put 20 miles on it, no major issues, besides one guy almost crashing into me looking at it

[/ QUOTE ]Well doing what you are doing really makes all the time and money worth while. I bet for a few minutes as you are cruising with the family it is hard not to think of it being 1972 again! The car is already paying you back, keep it up. The other part of the therapy is cleaning it all up for the next ride! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif
