Any info on Mancuso Chev that used to reside in Skokie Ill? I know back in the day they were into performance cars as well. They were heavy into 409's early on and had a 'black '63 Z-11 Chevy raced by Bures Hall, thanks.

They sold Deuces, have an old Deuce ad from them but that's about it.

Rick Mancuso was a Vette racer also part of the mid 70's John Greenwood GT and Sebring GT Corvette production effort and sold 'Mancuso Sebring' street cars from his dealership..

If I had received this letter two months earlier I'd have a Cortez Silver Deuce in my garage today. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

And these came in the same envelope.

Dennis - very cool stuff you have there. If you're looking for pity on not having a CS Deuce in your garage, you ain't gettin' it from me! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

Has anyone seen one of the hood scoops referred to in the pamphlet? Any pix? http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif

Neet stuff Crumbly, I think you had shown it to me before. As others have said, I hope you are not looking for pity for ending up owning a measly Fred Gibb LS-6 instead. Whiner! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Besides, you would not have won nearly as many races as you did back in the 70's (sorry Marlin) and best of all, you and I likely would have never met that fateful day at Chevellabration several years ago when your (then wife) let me tear your car apart and document it without your knowledge which has turned out to be a very special and long term friendship. Think about that for a minute, buddy......... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif

Dennis,it was just meant as a joke as we know Rick did not "tear you car apart" and because people in the past talked about how the benchmark was not a survivor because it had been "taken apart" http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif

Geez! Ok, maybe I should have said, "tore into it. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

I can only imagine the 70 DH Camaro will be dealt the same blow too since we tore that car apart and cleaned it up too. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

those are lights for the 24 hour race.. when you turn in you can't see to the side of the car you are going so fast ! So you need lights already pointing in the proper direction http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
