This is car was purchased in unrestored condition from the original owner of over 35 years in 2005. Fully restored by Ken Schoenthaller. This car retains ALL original sheetmetal and considered to be one of the cleanest and lowest mileage Deuces prior to restoration. Car was on display at SCR8 in its original condition, complete with its weather worn original paint and stripes and with the original owner, Moses Long, present to debut and verify the car. Sold new at Dale Chevrolet in Wisconsin, this car is 100% numbers matching, with it's "born-with" engine, 4-speed transmission, rear end, and most dated components. Interior is ALL original with the exception of the front seat cover, which was reproduced exactly with original material from SMS. Everything works as it should, including the Dixco hood tach. Complete documentation including factory build sheet, and numerous photos of the car before, during, and after restoration. Gardner exhaust, Goodyear polyglas E70 14 tires on vintage 14" 5 spoke wheels. Painted the correct code 48 "Forest Green" with all new chrome, trim, etc. This is a rare opportunity to own one of the nicest, most highly documented Deuces on the planet. This car has been recently photographed for a full color feature in musclecar review magazine that will debut in this year's April issue [along with Joe Barr's green Deuce].

Priced fairly at $160,000 for this well documented and original drivetrain Deuce with gobs of original owner history. The Deuce is still titled in the original owner's name.

Sweet car! http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Can-I-Have-It.gif

I'd happily take either this one, or the blue one.

Hmmmm..... I either need to invent something or win the lottery.

Ditto on that... I drove it from the hotel to the convention center...I never got out of 2nd gear either, but I still think it would eat my car's lunch. Maybe someone will buy it, bring to SCR11 and take home the big Deuce Shootout trophy. A great looking car, although I may be a bit biased... http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was a few cars in back of Gags with the RS COPO. Only difference was I was too afraid to have one of his so-called "accidents". http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worship.gif Priceless memory.

I knew I recognized the area.. Last time I was in Vegas I rented a Harley and rode all through the Valley of Fire area.. It was absolutely beautiful.. It would be fun driving one of those Dueces out there from Vegas and just "beating the snot out of it, ramming thru the gears" knowing how remote it is out there!! Cool Pictures!!
