I got the pleasure to meet Jim @ Supercar Reunion 10 thru a friend Mark Milichik... what a great guy. He is in a much better place now, hang onto all of your memories with your DAD, I am sure he is looking down and smiling at you right now. I am very glad to have met him thru this Club and at the Super Cars Reunions. He was justifiably proud of his Yenko and was happy to share it as well as info about it, with everyone.

Our Condolences to you and your family.

Hi Keith: We wanted you to know how sorry we are to hear of your fathers passing. There was not a time where we would go to a cruise night or show where we did not see Jim there with the Yenko. Below is a picture I took the first time I met your dad at a cruise night at Sonic. Your dad was so excited when we asked him to let us photograph his car in our photo studio. We will never forget that day with Jim and your mom. Jim you will be missed by all. May God Bless You. (jim and carl MWClassic) http://www.yenko.net/attachments/317258-AAAASHOCKLEY.jpg

Sorry for your loss Keith, I know what you must be going through as I too lost my dad back on 10/19/07. I knew your father briefly from selling him Yenko shirts. I always saw him at the Reunions wearing that Ralley green shirt of his. He will be GREATLY MISSED. I will say a prayer for you and your family.

I just wanted to thank Tom and Rob Clary for driving 4 hours to come say goodbye to a good friend. You two went out of your way to show the Shockley Family how much Jim meant to you and the Car World. I know that this is a sad moment but Jim has to have a smile on his face to see all his friends coming to say goodbye and his Yenko right outside the door ready for a quick getaway. Take care Jim and I know your memory will live on forever. Mark http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/flag.gif

Pulling up and seeing his RG Y-Camaro was a pleasant surprise! Nothing could convey his true passion for the hobby, like simply seeing his car did...and the crowd last night spoke volumes as well!

Good to see some sYc and Gateway Camaro club members as well...but let's meet on better terms next time, ok!

I would like to thank all of you for your wonderful replies and to all of our friends that came to the wake and funeral. I was really supprised when I saw Rob & Tom clary at the wake and I just want to thank you again! I feel that my dad touched a lot of lives and that makes me very proud to be his son. My dad was my best friend!!! I will continue to show the car that he loved so much. I'll see you all this summer.

I also share the many members thoughts of what a great loss this is to our community.

Keith, I am sure your Father would be very proud to see you carry on the family tradition and I look forward to seeing you at the Reunion. My Son is also my best friend (and fellow car-guy), so I can appreciate your feelings of loss.
